Loved this article. Thank you for writing it. I read every word. App says I read 17%. That's cognitive warfare. Incredibly annoying feature, so I wanted to tell you I read the whole thing. Such a great essay. It *deserves* to be fully read. Is the app trying to make readers look like lightweights? Or trying to make writers feel like no-one cares?

Commenter ws thanks Ignasz for writing the article, perhaps jokingly. Ignasz withheld the "source" information until the end for some reason, possibly a good one. I was aware of this document thanks to Rounding the Earth (Mathew Crawford) and one of his regular guests, Kristin Elizabeth, from earlier this year. Some way through reading, I realized that these were not Ignasz's words but words from the NATO document.

If memory serves, I subscribed to this substack before hearing Ignasz's interview with Delingpole in April, which impressed me greatly. I subscribe to many substacks just to keep an eye on them, and read a small number of selected posts. In the last few days I have read three of the most recent VST posts, and I'm going through the process of of realizing that Ignasz is (in my opinion) one of the very best observers and commentators on current history. And I'm talking about maybe half a dozen of them. Very Slow Thinking is superb.

RG,

You are correct. This paper's true value is in how it literally describes a mode of warfare that is employed against us, but reads like it's written by a concerned third party, hence the deliberate sourcing at the bottom.

Surveillance, censorship, tech (big and boutique), genetic engineering, media and the entire financial system are just parts of the panopticon that has been constructed around us and wielded in various part and degrees of co-ordination by unaccountable minorities. Cognitive Warfare is an essential and highly visible part of that. It's just that so many people have little understanding of the CW concept and how it translates into so much more than overt propaganda. Our societies are being deliberately fractured and CW is a deliberate means employed effectively at various points and by various parties throughout.

I've tried to demonstrate this in many of the articles here, overtly and covertly.

Thanks for the kind words and compliment. They are gratefully received.

I despise the "social" everything in the digital world. I will never engage in any social contracts other than perhaps with my soon-to-be-wife. Mainstream social media makes me wanna puke.
