Backtest: The Train

A metaphor and the real world.

On Feb 4th, 2022 VST published The Train - A Metaphor for the Present Paradigm, in which it was argued that the utterly fragmented citizenry was in an existential, asymmetric fight against a maximally resourced, strategically aligned and integrated foe who could be described using the G3P model. The battle was described metaphorically as an attempt to derail an armoured train.

Exactly one year later, arguably the most consequential train derailment in the recent history of the USA occurred in East Palestine, Ohio, giving rise to possibly the largest single environmental disaster on the US mainland in the 21st century.

Sadly, the Norfolk Southern train derailment is the antithesis of VST’s metaphorical derailment, and it serves as a poignant bell weather of the ongoing battle between citizens and the ruling elites.

The regulatory and corporate set up of the USA’s rail system had no ability or will to prevent the East Palestine tragedy or the other 800+ derailments that occur on a yearly, growing basis. A propaganda talking point that sought to blame the Trump administration for causal factor policy decisions was rolled out but does not appear to hold up to scrutiny. Obama legislation that required some narrowly defined hazardous material trains to be equipped with an electronic braking system to reduce accidents was repealed by Trump. However, the train involved in the East Palestine disaster was outside of this classification and would never have required such a system, irrespective of the regulation’s repeal. It doesn’t matter who was on the Golden Toilet at the time. Blaming a figurehead is worthless.

The US rail network is reputed to suffer from woeful underinvestment and maintenance, which contributes to derailment frequency. It is also almost entirely privately owned. Various post crash reports have flagged that the regulator does not concern itself with Rail Heat Sensors which could provide early warning of an impending derailment, and recent claims have been made of industry shirking of rail car safety inspections for damaged wheel bearings. These reports come on top of long standing concerns that the general picture of US rail is one of decreasing safety as a result of the usual corporatocratic wealth extraction at the expense of all else, while a captive and deliberately ineffectual regulator structure gets paid to turn the other cheek.

Reporting from East Palestine tells an ongoing story of likely corrupt corporate and regulatory collusion to do the minimum work in the minimum time at the minimum cost to “clean up” the disaster. The Grayzone’s Jeremy Loffredo reported that the disaster site is a toxic wildlife graveyard, despite Norfolk Southern’s claims that the area was completely safe. Norfolk Southern is allowed to investigate itself and manage the site and the clean up. It has contracted CTEH, an environmental consulting firm, for aspects of safety testing despite it having a chequered past of corporate agenda protection covering multiple largescale disasters. Tetra Tech is another firm involved in safety assessment. According to Loffredo, closer examination reveals that Vanguard and Blackrock between them are the parents of Norfolk Southern and Tetra Tech, which should come as no surprise.

Within this crony capitalist setup are trapped the residents of East Palestine who are at the mercy of a known industry-captured EPA, woefully ineffectual Transport Secretary (who took nearly three weeks to visit the site only after Trump had taken political advantage first), and the Mother of All Corporate Behemoths. Both Trump and Buttigieg were sure to have given sufficient time for at least the air to literally clear somewhat, and Trump made sure to bring his own drinking water. That both men are actually playing the same game of only pretending to care about their countrymen being poisoned was given away when Trump decided to “feed” the police and fire crews at a McDonalds.

What can be assumed from the outset and has been partially demonstrated by the disaster is that, as usual, the corporate and government media-spun line must be treated with utter contempt. Questions around the validity and integrity of all forms of safety monitoring and testing persist. Initial claims of safety were instantly contradicted by multiple accounts and reports of polluted water, dead animals and ongoing resident symptoms. Norfolk Southern made a quick initial offer of just $25,000 to the village, which is a practically net negative insult of a figure. The entire village is a literal write off and the lives and health of the residents will be soon if they are forced to remain there, given the nature of the contamination, which has spread across a large part of the continent in the air and through the water table. There is no way that the necessary scale of safety monitoring, clean up and compensation will ever be met, let alone fulfilled by Norfolk Southern, the EPA or the rail regulatory bodies. Two weeks after the disaster, Norfolk Southern reportedly stated that it would meet the clean up and evacuation costs but obviously the devil of such claims lies not only in the details but in the methods.

Affected citizens are effectively and deliberately contained between multiple arms of government, multiple corporate entities with practically unlimited resources, and the cost and complexity of the legal system. None of these entities and constructs did anything to prevent the disaster, despite prevention being the highest safety objective of all of them. Closing the barn door after the horse has bolted is the real world model of safety regulation, but the opposite is always claimed until a disaster occurs.

What is glaringly obvious is that from the outset, the East Palestine residents and any other proximate victims only had each other to rely upon. No one else can be assumed to be coming to save them. The entire focus of the other side is to block claims, minimise liability, and zero accountability and costs. Citizens therefore need to act in their own self interests to collect evidence totally independently of every other vested interest. The burden on citizens is immense. Effectively, they must do the job of the corporations and government themselves to a sufficient extent to bring claims, otherwise they will literally be given exactly what Blackrock, Vanguard and the government choose to give them, which will be as close to nothing as possible.

Independent expertise across numerous areas are required by the residents to even begin to fathom what needs to done and verified in order to fully quantify the scale of harm to which they were exposed. An effective, basic containment strategy will be to simply ask the residents to say what they want which, without expert guidance, will always fall short out of unwitting ignorance on the part of the residents. Hopefully, there will be enough savvy amongst the residents to invest their time, effort and resources in establishing the independent expertise base they need to lever some control away from Norfolk Southern and the government, but there’s no way that the expansive, hidden and potentially very long term true costs of the disaster will be accounted for in whatever the residents get in the end.

East Palestine is a train derailment that occurred on the terms of the masters, at the maximal expense of the slaves. Thus, it is the antithesis of VST’s metaphor in which the slaves might tactically derail the train on their terms, and to their net benefit.

A year on from VST’s article, and what progress have citizens made against the G3P and the published and proven agendas that Covid has brought to the fore?

It’s not good, and it is worth admitting this, no matter how bleak that statement may seem. Deal in truth, not lies.

The Covid tidal wave is slowly drawing back and it looks like the many proponents of the narrative are lacking elements of their bathing costumes. The virus origin story, GoF work and severity of the disease is being recognised to various degrees. The lack of efficacy and the risks of the gene therapies are fractionally admitted. The social impact of the pandemic policies are talking points. Amongst this fully managed reverse ferret are still minority pockets of citizens, some of them involved in fights to claw back aspects of things that were taken from them, be that health or wealth. Notable is the total absence of an international citizen’s anti-Covid policy movement. After three years, all the awake people who share messages on every platform have not managed to make just one club to register their numbers, even if it doesn’t do anything else. What this means is that the Awake are all in silos and fragmented, even if their numbers are growing. Despite the truth about Covid being slowly admitted bit by bit, there are no more anti-Covid protests. Think about that. In 2021, the protests were fuelled by discontent, suspicions, and published but marginalised or suppressed science. Now, the discontent should be greater and the evidence more voluminous, harder and more widely acknowledged, yet there are no protests. In logical terms, there should be even bigger protests on a regular basis demanding that heads roll, compensation be paid, corporate profits be clawed back, politicians be hung out to dry and institutions of all flavours being sanitised and rebuilt. The entire global medical profession should be up against the wall with plenty of practitioners being actively stripped of their licenses to practise for taking part in 3 years of malpractice. Government advisors and experts are still in position despite being provably incompetent and corrupt. The UK’s MHRA is literally untouchable despite being rotten to the core.

What does the above mean? It means the same thing as VST stated a year ago. The mob is incompetent and easily managed by distraction tactics and propaganda, even when the mob is awake. Yes, you should literally despair.

In the UK, the mob is being flung very carefully selected scraps from the table of the Office for Perception Management, at a very carefully controlled rate. The UK’s Uniparty process is undisturbed, with the Trilateral Commission’s Wolf in Sheep’s Clothing ready to take centre stage next time around. The Fat Liar Monkey is dancing for The Organ Grinder, admitting to poor judgement about piss-ups at Downing Street, to keep the mob entertained for a few weeks. That comes hot on the heels of The Telegraph’s Limited Hangout - AKA The Lockdown Files - that delivers a specific cohort of known political has beens and a microcosm of selected text messages to confirm a tight narrative of disconnected, narcissistic, semi-sociopathic incompetence and self-interest at the head of government, while protecting all of the corporatocracy and their periphery enablers and strategic plants (Vallance, Whittey, SAGE, iSAGE etc). Why are none of the present cabinet criticised by The Lockdown Files, despite Hunt literally having been on TV saying that the UK should become China because his sister used to live there? If all the heads targeted by The Lockdown Files lost their government positions tomorrow, would they experience any detriment? No. They would take up private sector positions after doing their duty as fall guys, probably directly within the Covid narrative network. The mob is being fed, just like it is after every piece of Disaster Capitalism. Look at the handful of heads that The Telegraph is telling you are the ones to blame. There’s two houses worth of people who actively forced the entire UK population into total subjugation and practically none of them have so much as a drop of Lockdown Files shit on any of their wipe clean cat and dog fetish suits. Everyone who went along with the Covid narrative needs to be lined up and made to answer to the mob. Andrew Bridgen spoke to an empty Commons, which confirms that every absent member is on the Covid payroll. The Telegraph and Isabel Oakeshott distracted suckers with a limited hangout that leads their thinking down an alleyway and into a box. The mob is managed and distracted by being led away from Parliament, down to the banks of the Thames and allowed to watch a small bag of cats be thrown in to drown.

Meanwhile, an alternate reality war story is printed every day that bears no relation to the frontline, never mind the other side’s narrative. Open escalation for a known zero sum is the name of the game because the sums are not meant to be added up by the mob. They get the zero. The double accounting of the war business diverts all the mob’s money back round in a loop via greasy hands to offshore locations and non-cash asset classes.

The mob still slides further and further behind the Covid trajectory, because this phase of management is now on go-slow admission, investigation and minimised “compensation” that will take a decade to achieve the utterance of “lessons have been learned” from BozCockHandJob. There are no wins of any kind to be had. The mob is so far below the zero baseline that any apparent win only tiptoes back to zero while politically, deliberately induced inflation pulls the mob faster and farther down and off the curve. This is not running to standstill; this is running backwards while gasping for breath and hoping that a heart attack doesn’t result.

Nothing has changed in terms of the use and approval status of the gene therapies, or the official or public scrutiny of them. The ones that have dropped off the radar went silently because of protective collusion between governments and corporations. Note how AZ and J&J gene therapies aren’t even in our markets any more and yet that is literally Not News. They were pulled ages ago because they kill people. And so do the two remaining highest margin toxic cocktails, but they are still being injected into Actual Suckers.

What legislation in your nation has been repealed? How has the legislative capability for the next big scam been shifted and morphed? Why, if so many of us are awake and increasingly effective, is the WHO taking more supranational power over your government and why is Gates still telegraphing what will happen next, with accuracy?

Because the game hasn’t changed in a way that the mob really impacted on its terms.

This is not about incremental returns of items that were stolen from your house. This is about coming home one day to find your entire home gone thanks to a 2000lb bomb that was dropped when there was no war. If you spend the next decade trying to get back as many bricks as you can, and you think that’s a righteous mission with an acceptable rate of return, you are your own worst enemy. Your expectations and actions should center around forcing the full rebuild of your home to original specs, with its full contents and a massive cheque to compensate for being rendered homeless for 3 plus years. VST’s article, The Train, was a metaphor. The East Palestine disaster was a real world tragedy. But look closer. East Palestine is a massive metaphor itself, for Covid. For your life under Covid. They set off a bomb in your village and ruined it, by crashing a toxic train on their terms. Whatever clean up they are choosing to do now is still on their terms and you are a bystander shouting and begging for scraps from the table of the Office of Perception Management, who is telling you that it’s only your village that’s fucked, and that it’s safe to stay and Shelter In Place. Whatever you do, they tell you, don’t see if there’s another village fucked. Don’t bother anyone else. They’ll look after you and take care of the clean up and the investigation and the rectification. Just Shelter In Place and wait till they tell you to come out.

The Kool Aid is safe to drink.
