Covid has provided insights into many, many aspects of human behaviour. Here is yet another.
The aviation industry was warned, multiple times, by those that the industry claims it wants: people with the ability to independently analyse risk, develop cogent arguments, and who have the guts to speak up.
When those people came forwards early on, every level of the industry reverted to childish behaviours and shut them down through means and arguments that looked ridiculous then and probably insane now.
Well, time marches on and it brings more evidence that the dissenting voices were right and the gang are backed into a corner of their own making, and some of them are collapsed in that corner with myocarditis, pericarditis and all manner of other issues.
That's what this programme is about: showing you the degree of ineptitude inside the highest level of aviation medical regulation. The head medical shed in Australian aviation got caught on camera spouting to airline pilots and now doctors and pilots critique her spiel.
It's enlightening and entertaining but for the wrong reasons. Therefore, it's worth your time.
Enjoy.
